NJPW releases full card for New Japan Road event in Anjo

Hiroshi Tanahashi and Yuto-Ice will headline this Saturday’s New Japan Road event, while the entire card has been released.

After losing to Yota Tsuji in Gifu on Saturday, Tanahashi was challenged by Yuto-Ice, who is one-half of the IWGP tag team champions.

The match will be the biggest of the 28-year-old’s career, which began in 2021 after graduating from the New Japan Dojo. He returned from excursion with Oskar Leube and the tandem won the tag titles at Destruction in Kobe from Taichi & Tomohiro Ishii.

Saturday’s event will also see a NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Title match as champions Master Wato, Toru Yano & YOH defend against EVIL, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Dick Togo.

The show streams live on New Japan World with a version including English commentary to be available on demand.
