AEW Dynamite ranked eighth among cable programming on Wednesday and reached a three-week high in its viewership.
The November 5 episode from Houston averaged 497,000 viewers and 123,000 viewers (0.09) in the 18-49 demographic on TBS and doesn’t include streaming viewership on HBO Max.
The viewership experienced an eight percent uptick while the 18-49 audience grew by thirteen percent from last week. In the core demo, male viewership increased from 61,000 viewers to 87,000 this week, while females fell from 53,000 viewers to 40,000.
The show achieved its largest viewership and 18-49 audience since October 15.
Last week’s episode aired against Game 5 of the World Series, while this week’s sports competition was limited to the NBA on ESPN and several college games.
Dynamite ranked behind the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. New York Knicks on ESPN (1,377,000 viewers and 0.37 in 18-49), three programs on Fox News, a men’s basketball game on the Big Ten Network, a repeat of Friends on Nick at Nite, and MTV’s The Challenge.
Since the start of Big Data + Panel, Dynamite is averaging 486,000 viewers and a 0.09 in the 18-49 demographic in the five episodes in its normal time slot on Wednesday, compared to 589,000 viewers and 0.13 over the previous five episodes under panel only.
