Can They Get Along?

Raw from Oklahoma City kicked off with Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes coming down to the ring (separately) and burning the first fifteen minutes of the show with their entrances. Rhodes asked Reigns why he was participating in War Games. Reigns said half of their team was his family, and Cody welcomed Roman to his team when CM Punk joined the fray, adding more time to the opening segment entrance clock. Roman said that the only thing they could agree on is their hatred for Paul Heyman and The Vision. He concluded by saying, “That title would look so much better on my shoulder,” and walked off. Punk and Rhodes were left unsure of which of them he was referring to as the segment ended.

Backstage, Paul Heyman informed Drew McIntyre that he was selected for the Advantage match despite still being suspended. Heyman then informed Logan Paul that he was McIntyre’s partner.

Last Time is Now Quarterfinal

The first match of the evening was Gunther taking on Carmelo Hayes in the John Cena Last Time is Now Tournament. Hayes started hot, hitting Gunther with several high-flying moves, but was promptly cut down as the tide shifted in Gunther’s favor. After a commercial break, Gunther started screaming at Hayes, and the two started exchanging heavy blows. Hayes continued to find ways to reverse Gunther’s offense as the show went into another break. Upon return, Hayes continued to hang with Gunther, nearly winning multiple times. Finally, Gunther applied the sleeper and then hit a Powerbomb for the win.

Backstage, Cody, Roman, and Punk were approached by The Usos, who said they were focused on winning the advantage match tonight. Roman asked Cody and Punk whose team it was and said, “Fix this”.

Dirty Dom Fake Out

Dominik Mysterio cut an in-ring promo about his upcoming rematch with John Cena for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. Dom then had a little person impersonate John Cena, complete with little Stu the cameraman, to fake out the crowd. Fake John Cena then went off-script, upsetting Dom, and Dom responded by hitting the Five Knuckle Shuffle, 619, and Frog Splash on him. This brought out Rey Mysterio, who chased Dominik off. This led directly into the scheduled match between Rey Mysterio and JD McDonagh.

This match started in the commercial break, returned for about three minutes of McDonagh domination, and went right back to commercial. Finally, Rey recovered and began to turn the tide, nearly catching JD with multiple pinfall attempts. Rey then hit the 619, followed by the MP (Mexican Plancha) for the win.

Raquel Rodriguez was complaining to Adam Pearce about not getting a title shot, and Pearce agreed. The New Day and Grayson Waller entered and asked where AJ Styles and Dragon Lee were. Pearce revealed they were finally getting their title shot next week.

Women’s War Games Promo

Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and the Kabuki Warriors came out to the ring and cut a promo with Becky Lynch claiming she put the team together. This brought out their five opponents, and after a few brief words from AJ Lee, a brawl ensued. The segment ended with the face team standing tall and Becky Lynch retreating.

Last Time is Now Quarterfinal

Next up was the second of two matches in the John Cena Last Time is Now Tournament, with Solo Sikoa taking on Penta. Early in the match, Penta took out Sikoa coming off the ringside barrier with a Hurricanrana and landing directly on his left shoulder. The show went into a commercial break, and an official could be seen moving his shoulder – perhaps putting it back into the socket. It was clear that something was wrong as no ten-count was being administered. The show returned, and the bell rang as Solo Sikoa was announced the winner. Sikoa goes on to face Gunther, which was most likely not part of the plan, but should make for an intriguing matchup.

Backstage, Adam Pearce told Maxxine Dupri to keep moving forward as she now has a target on her back. Dupri said she would call Natalya to continue her training. Ivy Nile then appeared, claiming that the IC title was hers. Roxanne Perez then said she could take it all away.

A Stephanie Vaquer promo package aired with Vaquer saying Nikki Bella isn’t as smart as she thinks she is.

Men’s War Games Advantage Match

The main event of the evening was the advantage match ahead of the Men’s War Games match featuring The Usos taking on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. The two teams went back and forth, with Paul and McIntyre dominating the early going. The rest of the team members then began arriving and brawling at ringside, including Cody Rhodes punching Drew McIntyre and not getting disqualified for some reason. Logan Paul then rolled up Jimmy Uso for the win.

The brawl continued, and finally, Roman Reigns joined in. The show displayed its credits, but Brock Lesnar then entered, taking a fall on his ass during his entrance. The two teams started brawling again, and the show promptly ended.
