A UFC fighter fainted during Friday morning’s weigh-ins before UFC 324.
Bantamweight Cameron Smotherman stepped on the scale to make weight for his fight and proceeded to faint as he walked across the stage. The incident occurred while the UFC Morning Weigh-In show was live, with the panel reacting in real time.

The camera returned moments later, and Smotherman appeared to be conscious and lying on his back while being tended to and being hydrated.
To no surprise, Smotherman’s fight with Ricky Turcios has been canceled from Saturday’s card in Las Vegas.
Alex Perez and Deiveson Figueiredo also missed weight for their fights, but they will move forward as catchweight fights. Both fighters will be fined 25 percent of their purse for the weight misses.
