Last week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown fell under one million viewers for the second consecutive week.
The January 16 taped edition from London, England, averaged 968,000 viewers and approximately 284,000 (0.21) in the 18-49 demographic on the USA Network.
The viewership dropped by two percent while the 18-49 audience declined by 20 percent from the January 9 episode.
The show aired live on Netflix internationally but was on a five-hour tape delay in the U.S. SmackDown still ranked second among cable originals on Friday behind an NBA regular-season game on ESPN, while WWE outranked RuPaul’s Drag Race on MTV, Gutfeld on Fox News, and Jesse Watters Primetime.
The three-hour edition of SmackDown included Drew McIntyre’s first appearance on television since winning the Undisputed WWE Championship, and the four qualifying matches for the four-way at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
