Liv Morgan outlasted 29 other women to win the Royal Rumble on Saturday, earning a championship opportunity of her choosing at WrestleMania 42.

Entering the match at number 14, Morgan secured the victory by last eliminating Tiffany Stratton. The match concluded with a sequence involving Morgan, Stratton, and NXT’s Sol Ruca as the final three competitors.

Following a maneuver where Ruca hit both opponents with her Sol Snatcher finisher, all three women ended up fighting on the ring apron. Stratton eliminated Ruca, but was immediately hit with an Oblivion by Morgan, knocking Stratton to the floor to end the match.

Charlotte Flair, who entered the match at number 1, lasted 59 minutes and 49 seconds, marking the longest tenure in the match. NXT star Lash Legend recorded the most eliminations in the contest, removing five competitors from the ring.

Early eliminations

The match began with tag team partners Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss entering at numbers 1 and 2, respectively. The two teased tension but largely worked together until the arrival of Nia Jax at number 4. Jax dominated the early portion of the match before being eliminated by Flair. During the elimination of Jax, Flair also inadvertently knocked Bliss from the apron, eliminating her partner.

Becky Lynch entered at number 9 and engaged in a brawl with Flair that spilled to ringside. Lynch was later eliminated by Nattie (Natalya), who entered at number 13.

Judgment Day dominance

The middle portion of the match saw the members of The Judgment Day—Morgan, Roxanne Perez, and Raquel Rodriguez—control the ring. Rodriguez entered at number 17 to complete the trio.

Rhea Ripley entered at number 22 and immediately targeted the faction. Ripley eliminated Chelsea Green and Roxanne Perez, removing Perez with a Razor’s Edge over the top rope.

The Bella Twins reunite

The match featured the return of WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins. Nikki Bella entered at number 25, followed later by Brie Bella at number 29. The sisters worked together to eliminate Lyra Valkyria and Bayley. Their reunion was cut short by Lash Legend, who eliminated both twins simultaneously.

The final sequence

Lash Legend proved to be the dominant force of the late match, eliminating The Bella Twins, Charlotte Flair, and Iyo Sky. Her run was ended by Rhea Ripley, who clotheslined Legend over the top rope.

Immediately following Legend’s elimination, Raquel Rodriguez eliminated Ripley with a Tejana Bomb onto the apron. Morgan then capitalized on the moment to eliminate her own teammate, Rodriguez, setting up the final three showdown with Stratton and Ruca.
