Kota Ibushi is recovering from another operation dealing with his broken femur after a screw came loose in the leg.

Ibushi wrote last week that a fifty-centimeter plate was inserted into his leg during the original procedure, but a screw came loose in late December, requiring an additional operation.

The 43-year-old suffered a broken femur during a match with Josh Alexander last October on AEW Collision at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

Ibushi previously stated it would take him one year to fully recover and two years until he can step back into the ring.
