Friday Night SmackDown grew its audience across the board on its second week in a row on Syfy.
The February 20 episode from Fort Lauderdale averaged 1,113,000 viewers and 395,000 viewers (0.29) in the 18-49 demographic on Syfy.
The show was tied for second among cable programming in prime time alongside the NBA game on ESPN and fell behind the USA Network’s coverage of the Winter Olympics. The Olympics averaged 1,729,000 viewers and 0.36 in 18-49, and the NBA game averaged 1,087,000 viewers and 0.29.
SmackDown’s audience grew by seven percent this week, while the 18-49 audience improved by 12%.
Adults 18-34 increased from 0.15 to 0.18, and adults 25-54 went from 0.33 to 0.41.
SmackDown ranked first among males 25-54 on cable this past Friday.
It was the final Friday featuring the Olympics, so SmackDown returns to the USA Network this Friday with a three-hour show from Louisville, Kentucky, before Elimination Chamber on Saturday.
