Sean Strickland will challenge for the UFC middleweight title in June as part of a slew of fight announcements in the coming months.
UFC CEO Dana White announced upcoming main events, including a lineup for UFC 328 on May 9, when it returns to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Current champion Khamzat Chimaev (15-0) will defend the 185-pound title for the first time against former champion Strickland (30-7). He is coming off a TKO win against Anthony Hernandez to earn his latest title fight.
