In one of the quicker matches of the night, Megan Bayne and Lena Kross ended the Babes of Wrath’s run as the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions.

Bayne and Kross won in just five minutes, with the duo putting away TBS champ Willow Nightingale with a double-team chokeslam.

The quick win was explained by an attack Bayne and Kross unleashed earlier in the evening, significantly weakining Babes of Wrath team captain Nightingale heading into this bout.

Nightingale defended her TBS title against Kross on the Zero Hour pre-show of Revolution, but suffered a post-match attack by the tag duo.

Nightingale insisted on pushing through her injuries and appearing in the main card title fight. Because of that decision, she’s no longer a double champ.

Cameron and Nightingale became AEW’s first women’s tag champs in December, when they won an eight-team tournament to capture the titles. They had defended the belts four times in recent weeks, including at last year’s Worlds End PPV.

Nightingale and Cameron had feuded with the duo of Bayne and Penelope Ford in recent weeks, facing off as part of Grand Slam: Australia. However, after Ford suffered an injury, she was taken out of the rivalry and replaced by Kross, who just recently signed with AEW.
