Most Valuable Promotions continues to load up its Netflix card in May with the addition of Nate Diaz to the event.
The promotion has added a fight between Nate Diaz and Mike Perry to the May 16 event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The fight joins the main event of Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano and Francis Ngannou vs. Philipe Lins.
Diaz (21-13) is 40 years old and was part of two of the biggest fights in UFC’s history, with a pair of fights against Conor McGregor a decade ago. Diaz submitted McGregor at UFC 196 and lost by majority decision in a rematch at UFC 202. Since that fight in August 2016, he has only fought four times, last competing in September 2022 when he submitted Tony Ferguson at UFC 279.
Diaz has also had two pro boxing bouts with Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal.
Perry (14-8) left the UFC in 2021 after losses to Tim Means and Daniel Rodriguez in his final fights in the promotion. He has become the signature star for BKFC, where he is undefeated at 6-0, including wins against Luke Rockhold, Eddie Alvarez, Thiago Alves, and Jeremy Stephens.
