Callum Newman challenging Yota Tsuji for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship will headline Sakura Genesis as New Japan has rolled out the card.
NJPW released the lineup for its April 4 event at Ryogoku Kokugikan and includes four title matches, including Tsuji’s second defense of the championship against the New Japan Cup winner.
The Knockout Brothers of OSKAR & Yuto Ice will defend the IWGP tag team championship against TMDK’s Zack Sabre Jr. & Ryohei Oiwa, Konosuke Takeshita returns to defend the World TV Championship against Shota Umino, and the NEVER 6-Man tag titles will be defended.
