Most Valuable Promotions has released the full lineup for its May 16 event headlined by Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano.
Netflix will stage its first MMA card at the Intuit Dome in May, and now the lineup is complete with eleven fights scheduled.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos, flyweight standout Muhammad Mokaev, and former Bellator fighters Lorenz Larkin and Jason Jackson are among the additions.
Junior Dos Santos will fight Robelis Despaigne in a heavyweight contest.
Dos Santos (23-10) is 42 and left the UFC after four straight losses. He has gone 2-1 since 2022 and is coming off a pair of wins for Jorge Masvidal’s Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA and became the group’s inaugural heavyweight champion in March 2024, but has not fought since.
Despaigne (5-2) was a highly touted Taekwondo fighter who moved to MMA and blasted through his first four opponents on the regional scene before signing with the UFC. He was cut following a 1-2 record inside the promotion and consecutive decision losses to Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Austen Lane. He has since gone 6-0 in Karate Combat.
Mokaev is arguably the top flyweight in the world outside of the UFC with a 16-0 record with one no contest. He was 7-0 in the UFC, but the promotion did not renew his contract and cited “many different reasons” and no longer wanted to do business with him.
Mokaev (16-0) will fight Adriano Moraes (21-6), who has been competing for ONE Championship since 2013 and last fought for the group one year ago. He also had a pair of fights with Demetrious Johnson, losing by KO and decision in back-to-back fights.
Jason Jackson (19-6) will fight Lorenz Larkin (27-8, 2 NC) in a welterweight fight in a battle among former Bellator fighters. Jackson won eight fights in a row in Bellator, including winning the welterweight championship from Yaroslav Amosov by knockout. He dropped the title to Ramazan Kuramagomedov in June 2024 and fought twice for the PFL after Bellator was shut down.
Larkin is a veteran of Strikeforce, the UFC, and Bellator, beginning his career in 2009. After beating Jorge Masvidal and Neil Magny in 2016, he jumped to Bellator and immediately fought Douglas Lima for the welterweight title and lost by decision. He would go on an eight-fight unbeaten streak and is 9-1 with two no contests over the past nine years.
One of the most interesting fights is a lightweight contest where Salahdine Parnasse (22-2) will fight Kenneth Cross (17-4). Parnasse has been fighting for the Polish-based KSW since 2017 and won belts at featherweight and lightweight in the promotion. He has stopped his last four opponents and just beat Marcin Held in January by TKO.
Cross is based in Las Vegas and has fought for a decade, including a 2020 win on Dana White’s Contender Series, and has won his last four fights.
A women’s bout will see Aline Pereira (2-2) fight Canadian Jade Masson Wong (3-2). Pereira is the younger sister of UFC fighter Alex Pereira.
The top three fights will be contested over five rounds, while the undercard bouts just added are three-round fights.
