Liv Morgan has regained champ status.

Just six minutes were needed for Morgan to take down Stephanie Vaquer in the co-main event of Wrestlemania 42 Night 1, scoring a pinfall to capture the WWE Women’s World Championship for the third time in her career.

Morgan’s quick victory came with some assistance from Judgment Day teammates Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, who interfered and made it a three-on-one fight for Vaquer at times.

While Vaquer was on a roll early, scoring her Devil’s Kiss then also stealing Morgan’s Oblivion finisher for a near fall, the interference played a significant factor right after. Morgan hit her own Oblivion following a distraction spot involving both of her teammates.

Vaquer took out Rodriguez and Perez with a springboard crossbody to the outside, kicking off the finishing sequence of the bout. Morgan capitalized on this distraction, running Vaquer into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Morgan connected with a springboard Codebreaker then another Oblivion for the pinfall victory.

Morgan earned a shot at Vaquer by winning this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match. Her appearance against Vaquer has been built up as a heated, personal feud over the past couple of months, with the women engaging in numerous heated pull-apart brawls on Raw in recent weeks.

Vaquer had a lengthy 211-day run with the WWE Women’s World Championship, first gaining the title back at Wrestlepalooza last September. She defended the title five times in recent months, taking down Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez along the way.

Saturday’s show saw Morgan come out to her new theme, “Trouble,” for the first time. Morgan, who is on the vocals for the song, did a special choreography for the tune as part of her entrance.
