Will Ospreay was offered the chance to become everything he was “meant to be” by Jon Moxley and the Death Riders on Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision.
The April 25 episode from Portland, Oregon, also saw Chris Jericho suffer another pinfall, Anthony Bowens officially join The Opps, while Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander secured a Women’s Tag Team Championship match for Dynamite.
FTR accepted Adam Copeland’s challenge for a street fight at AEW Double or Nothing, with the stipulation that Cope & Cage will split up as a tag team if they lose. An “I quit” stipulation was added to that match.

No Quitting for FTR
The Conglomeration spoke backstage before FTR and Stokely Hathaway interrupted. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood then headed to the ring to address Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. FTR accepted the challenge for a New York Street Fight at Double or Nothing.
Harwood added an “I Quit” stipulation to the match. He noted that if Copeland and Christian lose, they must retire as a tag team. The Conglomeration then made their entrance and shoved FTR to the ground on the ramp.

The Conglomeration vs. The Don Callis Family
Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly defended the AEW World Trios Championship against Andrade El Idolo, Lance Archer, and Hechicero. Cassidy stripped Andrade of his belt and pants during an early exchange.
The Don Callis Family isolated Cassidy before O’Reilly and Strong received the hot tag. Archer lifted Cassidy for a chokeslam, but Cassidy countered with an Orange Punch. Strong and O’Reilly delivered Total Elimination to Archer. Strong then threw Cassidy onto Archer to secure the pinfall and retain the titles.

A Neck-and-Neck Decision
AEW aired footage of the Death Riders speaking with Will Ospreay after Dynamite went off the air. Jon Moxley stated they could mold Ospreay into a dangerous weapon.
Moxley then handed Ospreay a steel chair and laid down on the floor. He challenged Ospreay to break his neck and get it over with. The camera cut away as Ospreay grabbed the chair with a conflicted expression.
“We can turn you into a weapon like professional wrestling has never seen.”

The Death Riders & The Dogs vs. The Young Bucks & The Rascalz
Jon Moxley joined the commentary desk for the ten-man tag team match. The bout featured a frantic pace with frequent dives to the floor. Claudio Castagnoli caught Dezmond Xavier mid-air and executed the Giant Swing.
The Dogs isolated Zachary Wentz in the final moments. Wheeler Yuta intervened to break up a suplex attempt from Wentz. Clark Connors and David Finlay capitalized by hitting a double-team spear and suplex combination on Wentz to win the match.

Lost in Translation
Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida, Harley Cameron, and Mina Shirakawa conversed backstage. Shida insulted Cameron in Japanese and challenged Divine Dominion for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships. Statlander appeared frustrated by Shida’s actions and walked away.

Kris Statlander vs. B3CCA
B3CCA attacked Statlander before the bell and controlled the opening moments. Statlander eventually countered a headscissors submission attempt. She lifted B3CCA and hit Saturday Night Fever to gain the victory. Shida attempted to hug Statlander after the match, but Statlander ignored her and walked past.
Dominion Accepts their Fate
Megan Bayne and Lena Kross responded to Shida’s challenge in a backstage interview. Divine Dominion claimed their dominance was fate and accepted the championship match for Dynamite.

Rush vs. Adam Priest
Rush refused a pre-match handshake from Adam Priest. The two men exchanged heavy chops throughout the physical encounter. Rush threw Priest into the barricade multiple times before returning him to the ring. Rush executed the Bull’s Horns dropkick in the corner to earn the pinfall.
Continental Clash
Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada traded insults in a video package. Takeshita promised to take Okada’s championship at Double or Nothing. Okada replied in Japanese before stating in English that Takeshita would lose.

Thekla & Skye Blue vs. Persephone & Alex Windsor
Persephone gained late momentum with a bridging German suplex on Skye Blue, but Thekla broke up the pin. Persephone then hoisted Blue for a Razor’s Edge. Julia Hart ran to the ring and sprayed black mist into Persephone’s face while Thekla distracted the referee. Blue immediately hit Code Blue to secure the win.

Jack Perry vs. El Clon
Jack Perry defended the AEW National Championship against El Clon. Clon removed his eye covering early in the match and maintained control for a significant duration.
Perry eventually blocked a springboard moonsault by raising his knees. He then hit a German suplex followed by a running knee strike to retain the title.

TBS Champion Willow Nightingale delivered a brief backstage promo. She embraced the “Comeback Killer” moniker and stated she was ready for her next challenger.
Bowens Finds an Opp-ortunity
Anthony Bowens approached Samoa Joe and HOOK to ask for their decision regarding his membership in The Opps. Joe initially stated there were no more vacancies in the group before officially welcoming Bowens to the faction.

The Demand vs. Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate
MVP joined the commentary team as Chris Jericho teamed with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin against Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona. All six men brawled extensively inside and outside the ring.
Jericho applied the Walls of Jericho to Ricochet late in the match, but Liona pulled Ricochet to the ropes to force a break. The Hurt Syndicate neutralized Kaun and Liona on the floor. In the ring, Ricochet delivered a low blow to Jericho behind the referee’s back. Ricochet followed up with the Ricosault to pin Jericho for the victory.
