UFC CEO Dana White, U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, and Shane McMahon were among those in attendance at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
A suspect is in custody after opening fire on Saturday at the location of the dinner and was identified as Cole Tomas Allen, a part-time teacher in California.
Allen opened fire outside the ballroom where the dinner occurred and injured a Secret Service agent. U.S. President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. were among those in attendance for the annual dinner in support of the press.
Dana White received attention for his reaction, stating he didn’t “get down” as instructed and “took it all in,” while calling the experience “f—king awesome.”
One week after appearing at WWE’s Hall of Fame ceremony in Las Vegas, Linda McMahon attended the dinner with her son Shane.
Allen is expected to be formally charged on Monday.
