In the video, Jay confirms her deal is coming up, but pushes back against other details.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp spoke about his reporting and getting the information directly from Jay’s representation, who she states doesn’t work with her any longer.
Full disclosure, I have reached out to Anna Jay today to communicate this — The information came directly from her reps/agents at the time when the details of her deal came out last year. Literally all of it. They have since said that she is handling her new deal herself. If they misrepresented that info, sorry to relay that info! But that’s the complete story about how that emerged. Every bit of it.
Fightful was the first to report that her deal was expiring this spring.
Anna Jay has not wrestled on AEW programming since November and returns this Saturday on Collision when she challenges Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship.
