The Double Shot is back in a big way as John Pollock & Wai Ting complete their review of Hulk Hogan – Real American by discussing Ep. 2 -4 on the POST Café. Rewind-A-Wai travels to February 1992 to cover WCW SuperBrawl II as the promotion says “goodbye” to Lex Luger and “hello” to Jesse Ventura. Sting challenges Luger for the WCW World Championship, The Dangerous Alliance’s Arn Anderson & Bobby Eaton defend the tag belts against The Steiners, and Brian Pillman meets Jushin Thunder Liger. The series moves to 2015 as Rewind-A-Wai #206 covers NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn from August 2015 and the brand’s debut at the Barclays Center, featuring Sasha Banks vs. Bayley, and Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor.
The month includes show reviews of Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano on Netflix, NJPW Wrestling Dontaku, and the season finale of Daredevil Born Again.
Finally, Book Club returns at the end of the month with John Pollock & Neal Flanagan covering Ultimate Fighters by Lavie Margolin on the UFC’s deep political ties to Donald Trump going back decades as the promotion prepares for its show at the White House.
