The WWE in-ring debut for former IWGP Heavyweight Champion EVIL is set.

EVIL, who now goes by the in-ring name Naraku, will make his NXT debut on the show’s May 12 episode from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Naraku made his debut last week when he confronted NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo. He made it clear in a pre-taped promo on Tuesday night’s episode that he hopes to soon challenge the champ.

Naraku’s appearance is one of five matches confirmed for next week’s NXT.

The show will also feature the TV in-ring return for Noam Dar, going one-on-one with Jackson Drake of the Vanity Project.

Dar spent nearly a year out of the ring due to an injury, only returning to NXT house shows late last month. When he wrestles next week, it will be his first NXT TV appearance since April 2025.

The recently debuted Lizzy Rain will team with NXT Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley to face Zaria and Nikkita Lyons in a match booked after a segment featuring all four this week.

Kendal Grey will be out for revenge when she faces Kelani Jordan in a one-on-one match. Trying to avenge a loss teammate Wren Sinclair recently took to Jordan, Grey will get back into the ring for the first time since her Stand & Deliver title loss a month ago.

We’ll also see Birthright try to rebound from their recent loss when they compete in six-man tag action.

Here’s the lineup for next week’s show:

  • Kendal Grey vs. Kelani Jordan
  • Tatum Paxley & Lizzy Rain vs. Zaria & Nikkita Lyons
  • Noam Dar vs. Jackson Drake
  • Naraku makes NXT debut
  • Uriah Connors, Stacks & Lexis King vs. Tate Wilder & Prosper, Sean Legacy
