It looks like WWE won’t be heading to Cincinnati in a few months.

A Ticketmaster listing is showing that the promotion’s September 4 taping of WWE Friday Night Smackdown at the Heritage Bank Center is “canceled.”

“Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event,” a statement on the event page currently reads.

Specifics on why the event was cancelled haven’t been confirmed yet. The show is currently still listed on WWE’s event schedule.

The event was scheduled to take place just a couple of days before WWE visits Atlanta for a Sunday Night’s Main Event TV special.

WWE last visited Cincinnati in October 2025, when Smackdown came to town. The show featured Sami Zayn defending his U.S. title against Aleister Black, and The Vision beating Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton in the main event.
