WWE Evolve talent Kai Kavari has announced that he is leaving the company less than one year into a three-year contract.
Kavari, whose real name is Cyrus Habibi-Likio, explained the decision in an Instagram video posted on Wednesday. He cited family, financial and religious considerations while saying he intended to return to California.

“It was not an easy decision, but I had to make it,” Kavari said.
The 27-year-old said he and his wife are expecting their third child, while both sets of grandparents live in California. He felt that remaining in Florida for WWE was keeping his family away from its support network.
He thanked WWE and Performance Center head coach Matt Bloom, describing the company as containing some of the best people he had met. Kavari did not rule out returning to wrestling at some point.
WWE announced Habibi-Likio as one of three new Performance Center recruits in November 2025. He began using the Kai Kavari name when he debuted on Evolve in February.
Before joining WWE, Kavari played running back at Oregon and Boise State.
