Callum Newman is set to be in Will Ospreay’s corner at AEW All In following a reunion at RevPro’s 14th Anniversary Show on Saturday.
Ospreay made an unannounced appearance at the show on Saturday at OVO Arena, Wembley. It marked his first RevPro match since February 2024, when Michael Oku defeated him at High Stakes before Ospreay began working full-time for AEW.
The opening match had been announced as CPF’s Callum Newman, Danny Black, Joe Lando & Maverick Mayhew against Ricky Knight Jr., Will Kaven, Mark Trew & Kieron Lacey.
Sha Samuels returned from a one-month storyline suspension before the bell and joined the opposing side, giving them a five-on-four advantage.
Ospreay then made his entrance to even the teams and ultimately secured the victory by hitting Trew with the Hidden Blade.
After the match, Ospreay acknowledged that there were matters he and Newman needed to resolve and apologized for not being around for United Empire. He reminded Newman that he had been in his corner when he won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and asked his “little brother” to return the favor at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Newman dropped the microphone and initially appeared ready to leave. He then turned around and embraced Ospreay, indicating that he had accepted the invitation and would accompany him for his AEW World Championship match against Kenny Omega at All In.
The angle builds on a relationship that has become increasingly strained during 2026. Ospreay returned to NJPW in April and was in Newman’s corner when the 23-year-old defeated Yota Tsuji at Sakura Genesis to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Ospreay also persuaded Newman not to use a chair during the match.
Four days later, Newman made his AEW debut alongside Ospreay, HENARE and Francesco Akira in a victory over the Death Riders on Dynamite.
Their relationship subsequently deteriorated, with Newman publicly criticizing Ospreay over his association with the Death Riders.
