Oba Femi will make a special appearance at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide next Saturday.
General Manager Rey Mysterio ran through the lineup on Saturday’s episode of AAA’s weekly show. He confirmed eight matches for the September 26 event at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
Oba Femi was the last name Mysterio mentioned, though he gave no details about what Femi’s appearance will involve.
The main event will see Mysterio team with CM Punk and AAA Mega Champion El Grande Americano against Omos, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh.
Penta & Rey Fenix will reunite as the Lucha Brothers to face Perros del Mal members Daga & Berto, who will be accompanied by Karmen Petrovic & Angel.
AAA Reina de Reinas Champion La Catalina is also set to make her first defense against Roxanne Perez. Perez earned the opportunity by winning a four-way contender’s match at TripleMania 34 Night 1, before Catalina defeated Flammer for the title two nights later.

- AAA World Cruiserweight Championship #1 contender four-way: Axiom vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Je’Von Evans vs. E.K. Prosper
- Six-woman tag: Las Tóxicas (Flammer, La Hiedra & Maravilla) vs. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid)
- Dragon Lee vs. Jack Cartwheel
- Mr. Iguana, La Parka, Adelicious & Mascarita Sagrada vs. Mini Abismo Negro, Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes & Myka Lockwood (w/ Jackson Drake)
- Special appearance: Oba Femi
Several of the matches had previously been advertised by Allstate Arena, as POST Wrestling reported on Wednesday.
A question remains over how or when fans outside the building will be able to watch the event.
Mysterio closed Saturday’s announcement by telling viewers, “You can’t miss it.”
However, WWE has also yet to announce a broadcast platform for the show. Worlds Collide is expected to be taped, with reports differing over whether it will be released live or at a later date.
