Kaito Kiyomiya is dominating the A Block of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s N-1 Victory tournament as he picked up his latest points on Tuesday.
The N-1 tour stopped in Hamamatsu on Tuesday with four round-robin matches in the A Block, highlighted by former GHC champion Kaito Kiyomiya getting past Kazuyuki Fujita. The win provides Kiyomiya with a total of nine points and sole possession of first place in the block. Fujita falls to 1-4 with two points near the bottom of the block.
Yuki Iino is winless in the N-1 Victory, falling to 0-5 after his latest defeat at the hands of Shane Haste. The Australian earned his third win of the tournament, using the Ayers Rock Bottom to extend his total to six points.
Takashi Sugiura beat Alpha Wolf in a match-up involving teammates in Team 2000X. The win by Sugiura ties the two with six points as the N-1 winds down over the coming week.
The fourth tournament match on Tuesday featured Yoshiki Inamura beating Chen and moving to seven points, and he is in second place behind Kiyomiya.
The A Block participants have two matches remaining, with shows on Friday in Sendai and Sunday at Light Cube Utsunomiya. The finals are set for October 4 in Yoyogi.
The N-1 continues Wednesday at Korakuen Hall with the B Block, including Manabu Soya vs. Kouga, Tetsuya Endo vs. Titus Alexander, KENTA vs. Masa Kitamiya, and Kenoh vs. OZAWA.
