LJ Cleary has suffered a significant injury and will be sidelined for upwards of a year.
The wrestler posted the announcement, although he didn’t disclose the injury.
Absolutely breaks my heart to have to post this. As of this morning I’ve been diagnosed with an injury that requires surgery and will have me out for 9-12 months.
There’s never a good time to get hurt, but it particularly stings right now as I was on the roll of my career, having the best year of my career as a whole with some big things lined up.
But this is the nature of the game, thank you for everyone that’s ever supported me up till now, this is a minor speed bump in the grand scheme of this beautiful life

Cleary, 27, wrestles throughout the independent scene and recently appeared in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at TNA’s Bound for Glory this past month.
The Irish wrestler debuted in 2014 and had several matches with Ring of Honor over the past year and was a regular for Pro Wrestling NOAH from 2023-25.
