The stakes have been raised in AEW’s trios division.

An upcoming showdown between AEW World Trios Champions Hangman Adam Page and Brodido against Swerve Strickland and the New Level will be held under Texas Death rules, as confirmed on Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite.

For weeks, Strickland had campaigned for the match to be held under a Texas Death stipulation. Many, including teammates the New Level and long-time rival Page, were against this.

But after Strickland kidnapped, bloodied and took the mask of Bandido last week, the rivalry became much more personal. Bandido was out for revenge this Wednesday and stated after a brawl between the teams that he also wants the match to become a Texas Death bout.

Shortly after Bandido convinced his team to change the match stipulation, AEW made it official.

Along with the Texas Death bout, it was confirmed that an Anarchy in the Arena bout will go down between The Cut and the coalition of Death Riders and The Conglomeration. Here’s an updated look at Full Gear:

  • Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson vs. Jake Doyle & Mark Davis (AEW World Tag Team Championships)
  • Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter vs. Harley Cameron & Kris Statlander (AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships)
  • Hangman Adam Page, Bandido & Brody King vs. Swerve Strickland, Austin Creed & Kofi (AEW World Trios Championships) (Texas Death Match)
