A pair of notable names showed up at last night’s Ring of Honor tapings in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jaycob, a reporter who attended the lengthy taping and made note of the matches that took place, showed on Tuesday evening that recent exits from TNA Wrestling and the WWE ID program worked matches at the show.

Former TNA Knockout Jody Threat was present at the show, facing Deonna Purrazzo in a ROH Women’s Pure Championship match. Threat exited the TNA roster earlier this year and has mainly taken independent wrestling appearances since then, as well as some bookings for Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Pro.

Prior to this week, Threat hadn’t appeared on an ROH or AEW show since 2022, when she faced Athena on an episode of Dark: Elevation.

Also present at last night’s tapings was ex-WWE ID talent Marcus Mathers, who went one-on-one with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family. News broke just last month that Mathers left WWE ID, a program meant to sponsor up and coming independent wrestlers.

While Mathers has worked for AEW before, those prior matches dated back to 2024.
