John Pollock & Wai Ting are joined by Ed Boxler to review Rocky Balboa (2006) as retired boxer and widower Rocky Balboa attempts an unlikely comeback for one final fight against heavyweight champion, Mason “The Line” Dixon.

We discuss the franchise’s strong return to form following its 16-year absence, the strength of Stallone’s performance in the film and its parallels to his real-life career, the decision to use Adrian’s off-screen death as Rocky’s motivation, the authenticity of the final fight scene, and John and Ed’s memorable live experience watching this film in theatres in 2006.

We then each rank our Top Rocky Movies before Ed discusses the state of the movie industry in 2021.
