One week after Raw had its best viewership since the night after WrestleMania, they fell under two million viewers but maintained a strong demo rating.
Coming out of WWE SummerSlam, Monday’s episode of Raw had its best performance since April as it topped two million viewers and drove up the demographic rating.
The go-home edition of WWE Raw heading into SummerSlam saw the show face competition from the DNC convention and the NBA playoffs along with a big loss in the third hour.
The big test this week was whether a radical concept in the Raw Underground series of “fights” would retain its audience for the final hour of the show.
For the second consecutive week, WWE Raw was able to top 1.9 million viewers for a show advertised as “Championship Monday” with the return of Rey Mysterio.
WWE Raw was able to stop its viewership loss with its best number in over a month featuring Becky Lynch’s announcement and the return of Edge & Randy Orton.
WWE Raw hit a new low this week and continues its rapid decline throughout its presentation of empty arena episodes during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
