In the opening match of this week’s NXT, Shotzi Blackheart went one-on-one with Dakota Kai. During the match, Blackheart suffered a rough fall after attempting to do a maneuver onto Kai off the top rope.

Dexter Lumis made his return to NXT and had a run-in with Cameron Grimes. Lumis was last featured on television prior to NXT TakeOver: XXX. He was supposed to be in the Ladder match for the then-vacant North American Championship but suffered a foot injury.
Another vignette aired for the talent that’s scheduled to make his or her return to NXT at TakeOver 31 this Sunday.
