Friday Night SmackDown kicked off its second season premiere on FOX and the show was headlined by Roman Reigns defeating Braun Strowman to retain the Universal Championship. The closing angle of the show featured Jey Uso and Reigns continuing the build to their Hell In A Cell match. Next week’s episode of SmackDown is airing on FS1.

New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods) are headed their separate ways as Big E is staying on SmackDown while Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are on RAW as the brand’s tag team champions. Before their win over Sheamus, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura, they shared their thoughts about working with one another over the years and became emotional when speaking about how much the group has meant to each of them respectively.

On the season premiere of Monday Night RAW, an episode of Firefly Fun House will air. Also, at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view on 10/25, Jeff Jarrett is joining the Kickoff show.
