Stardom held its second pay-per-view of the weekend with day two of its 5* Grand Prix tournament being the focus of the show.
After several major losses on the opening day of the Grand Prix, Sunday’s show saw many of the top stars get on the board with their first points.
Mayu Iwatani rebounded from her loss to Momo Watanabe by defeating Giulia in the main event of Sunday’s show using a Dragon Suplex and receiving two points in the Red Stars block.
World of Stardom Champion Utami Hayashishita also came back after losing her first tournament match with a win against Saki Kashima using her Hijack Bomb for the victory. On the opening night, Hayashishita was upset by Maika.
Wonder of Stardom Champion Tam Nakano defeated Konami after losing to Unagi Sayaka on Saturday.
After two days, Syrui and Unagi Sayaka tops the Blue Stars block with four points apiece and the Red Stars block features seven participants tied with two points each.
The Grand Prix resumes with shows next Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with the tournament running until September 25th.
