Caristico is donning the ‘Mistico’ name once again.
CMLL made the announcement that the original Mistico, who had been going by the name ‘Caristico’ is getting his name back. Mistico II is departing CMLL and that was first reported by Mas Lucha. Mistico II, real name Carlos Munoz is the brother of RUSH and Dragon Lee who work in Ring of Honor along with their father, Bestia del Ring.
Mistico and Caristico were the reigning CMLL World Tag Team Champions and those titles have since been vacated.
Back in 2012, Munoz took on the ‘Mistico’ name after Caristico left for WWE. When the original Mistico returned, he used the name ‘Caristico’.
This year, the likes of ROH World Champion Bandido, Sansón, Cuatrero and Forastero have all departed CMLL.
