The new title that IMPACT Wrestling introduced is titled the Digital Media Championship. Both men and women were included in the promotional material for the tournament that is taking place to crown the first-ever champion. The tournament kicks off October 5th and matches are airing on IMPACT! Plus, YouTube and more social media platforms. The finals are taking place at Bound For Glory on October 23rd.

A new title to be introduced in IMPACT.

IMPACT Wrestling is moving towards their Bound For Glory event on October 23rd and several matches have already been confirmed for the event such as Mickie James versus Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship.

A new episode of IMPACT’s weekly show on AXS is premiering tonight at 8 PM EST and according to PWInsider, an announcement is scheduled to be made on tonight’s show regarding a new championship belt being introduced. The site noted that a tournament will begin soon to crown the first champion.

The built is going to be built around the company’s digital media and subscription service[s].

As of this writing, here’s the card for Bound For Glory:

  • IMPACT World Championship: Christian Cage (c) vs. Josh Alexander
  • Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match: Rich Swann, Brian Myers, TBA
  • IMPACT Knockouts Championship: Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Mickie James
