During the TripleMania Regia broadcast, former Reina de Reinas champion Taya Valkyrie returned to AAA.

Valkyrie appeared in a backstage segment addressing the camera and issuing a challenge to current Reina de Reinas champion Deonna Purrazzo.

Valkyrie first worked for the promotion in 2012 and became a three-time Reina de Reinas champion during her stays with the promotion.

Earlier this year, she signed with WWE and reported to NXT where she worked under the new name Franky Monet until being part of the latest round of cuts by the company last month.

The other notable return was Cibernetico, who interrupted Konnan after Konnan had outlined his plans to destroy the company.

Cibernetico entered the baseball stadium through the crowd on a motorcycle and received a big reaction. He appeared again during the show to assist Los Vipers after their match with Nueva Generacion Dinamita and El Poder del Norte.

Cibernetico, whose history with AAA goes back over 25 years, last worked for the promotion in 2015 and left six years ago wrestling for Lucha Libre Elite and CMLL over the past several years. He last wrestled for CMLL in 2019 including on its anniversary card that year.

The long-time star is 46 years old and has held major championships throughout his career in AAA, CMLL, and the defunct UWA.
