Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins were positioned as the endorsers for the partnership.

At WWE’s Survivor Series event this past November, there was a 25-man Battle Royal to celebrate Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s 25th anniversary since he debuted. The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) were a part of that match and they promoted WWE’s partnership with Pizza Hut throughout their on-screen time.

Claudine Lilien, WWE’s Head of Global Sales and Partnerships was a guest at CES 2022. She discussed Ford and Dawkins’ involvement in the partnership and the crowd beginning to chant, ‘We want pizza’ being an additional bonus to the endorsement.

Just recently, we did a partnership with Pizza Hut at Barclays [Center] with Survivor Series and The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) came out eating pizza as if they were the new endorsers for the brand and literally, the entire audience started chanting, ‘We want pizza.’ So, you know, that’s something you don’t even promise as part of the deal. It’s just almost like that extra over delivery that we can bring to a partnership.

Survivor Series 2021 was headlined by Universal Champion Roman Reigns versus former WWE Champion Big E. Reigns remains champion and Big E lost his title to Brock Lesnar as a part of a Fatal 5-Way at the ‘Day 1’ event.
