Nikki A.S.H. ambushes Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins appearing on SmackDown, Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne compete on Main Event, Alexa Bliss note

The partnership between former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley has come to an end. They had an in-ring segment that resulted in Nikki ambushing Ripley after some miscommunication between the two sides. They failed to regain the Women’s Tag Titles on the 1/3 Raw.

Seth Rollins is scheduled to appear on the 1/14 Friday Night SmackDown on FOX. Rollins is challenging Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble. Rollins was in action on tonight’s Raw and defeated Big E in singles competition.

NXT 2.0’s Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne were in action prior to Raw going live. Their matches will air as a part of the next ‘Main Event’ episode. Ciampa defeated T-BAR and Dunne picked up a win over Akira Tozawa.

On the 1/11 NXT 2.0, AJ Styles is going one-on-one with Grayson Waller. Waller appeared on tonight’s Raw and interfered in Styles’ match with Austin Theory. Styles was able to regain control of the situation and chased Waller out of the ring.

The build to Alexa Bliss’ return began on Raw. She spoke to a ‘therapist’ and had flashbacks of losing to Charlotte Flair at Extreme Rules.

It is official that Edge and Beth Phoenix are teaming up at the Royal Rumble to take on The Miz and Maryse. During their segment on tonight’s Raw, while The Miz was speaking highly of Maryse, she removed herself from the confrontation after Beth Phoenix alerted Maryse what she is going to do to her at the Royal Rumble.

The enhancement talent that fell in defeat to Omos is Leo Sparrow. He’s a student of Brian Myers and Pat Buck’s Create A Pro Wrestling Academy.

Following Bobby Lashley’s segment with WWE Champion Brock Lesnar to promote their match at the Royal Rumble, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin attempted to attack Lashley. Lashley took both Hurt Business members out.

During the 24/7 Title segment on tonight’s program, Tamina had a cheesesteak thrown in her face. Tamina is celebrating her birthday today.
