DDT’s Konosuke Takeshita is coming back to AEW.
It was announced on March 20th that All Elite Wrestling and DDT Pro Wrestling reached a new agreement that will result in DDT talents coming over to AEW. At today’s DDT show, current KO-D Openweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita appeared in front of the crowd and announced that after April 10th, he’ll be returning to the USA for AEW.

Konosuke last competed for AEW in 2021 at their ‘House Always Wins’ non-televised event and he wrestled on Dark: Elevation. Coming out of that stint, he stated on several occasions that he would be looking to come back to AEW.
Michael Nakazawa was in action on the 3/27 DDT show and unsuccessfully challenged MAO for the promotion’s Universal Championship.
