A new U.S. Champion will be determined at Dominion.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling pushed out a video sent in from Juice Robinson who stated that due to needing his appendix removed, he would not be appearing at Dominion on 6/12 to defend the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Title.

The announcement was made that Robinson has been stripped of the belt and the original U.S. Title match at Dominion that was supposed to feature Juice defending against Will Ospreay and SANADA in a three-way has now been converted into a singles match between Ospreay and SANADA.

Robinson became champion at Capital Collision in May. He bested Hiroshi Tanahashi, Ospreay and Jon Moxley to win the belt. Robinson did not get an opportunity to defend the belt since winning it.
