Friday Night SmackDown notes: Madcap Moss secures final spot in MITB ladder match

The final entrant in the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match was determined on Friday Night SmackDown, the night before the show.

In the fatal four-way main event, Madcap Moss scored the pin on Ezekiel after stealing the pin from Happy Corbin, who had hit Ezekiel with End of Days before being thrown out of the ring by Moss.

Originally, Kevin Owens was to face Ezekiel this past Monday on Raw in a qualifying match, but Owens missed the show. On SmackDown, Michael Cole stated that Owens was “physically unable to compete” on the show with Ezekiel stating during his promo that he was supposed to face Owens again on SmackDown.

Moss joins Seth Rollins, Riddle, Omos, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, and Sami Zayn in the ladder match at Money in the Bank.

The Maximum Male Models debuted on SmackDown Max Dupri introduced his clients, Mace and Mansoor.

Mace will now be known as ma.çé and Mansoor will go by mån.sôör.

Next week, the Maximum Male Models will debut their Tennis Wear Collection on SmackDown from Fort Worth, Texas.
