Rosa states that it’ll be a while before she’s fully recovered, but she’s improving.

Due to AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa being sidelined with a back injury, an interim Women’s World Champion is going to be crowned at All Out.

Rosa provided an update on her injury while being interviewed by SOUNDSPHERE. At the time of the recording, it was her second day of doing therapy and she said she is doing good. It’ll take a while for her to be fully recovered, but added that she’ll use that time to reflect on her past and think about the now and her future.

Good [Rosa said when asked how she’s doing]. I just came out of therapy. It’s my second day officially doing therapy for my injury. I feel better. I can tell you that. I feel better.

I mean it’s gonna take a little while, you know? Definitely. It is positive because I know that you can heal so that’s always a positive so, in every other aspect too. It is a positive because I get a chance to breathe and think about my future, the present and really reflect on the past and see what worked and what didn’t work.

Outside of pro wrestling, Rosa has a three-series comic book that she’ll be promoting. She added that she is considering writing a children’s book as well.

I actually have a comic book, three-series comic book that I will actually be pushing it a little bit more this year or the beginning of the year. I do, I am writing a book. I am writing also a children’s book probably. There’s a bunch of stuff that I’m working on that are not related to necessarily wrestling.

Rosa was scheduled to defend the AEW Women’s World Championship at All Out against Toni Storm. Her most recent title defense was against Jamie Hayter in early August at Battle of the Belts III.
