AEW Rampage saw a small drop from last week’s live show and didn’t experience a post-pay-per-view bump in viewership.

The September 9th edition of Rampage averaged 429,000 viewers and approximately 183,000 (0.14) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

The show ranked #16 among cable originals with a decline of 11.5% in viewers and a drop of 12% in the 18-49 demographic from last week’s live edition going into the All Out pay-per-view.

Overall viewership for Rampage was the show’s lowest since July 29th.

In the 18-49 demo, it was male viewership that pulled down the average with a 21% decrease while the female audience in the demo grew by 7.5% this week to its highest mark since August 12th.

Unlike Dynamite, Rampage didn’t see an increase among adults 35-49 as that demo dropped by 15% for Rampage while adults 18-34 saw a 4% dip from last week.

It was a more important episode than usual the continuation of the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions as Sammy Guevara defeated Darby Allin and the main event saw Claudio Castagnoli defend the ROH Championship against Dax Harwood.

The show didn’t appear to capture any added attention based on the events of the post-pay-per-view press conference or backstage brawl, although anyone watching Dynamite would have known that the promotion wasn’t going to address the details beyond the news that the AEW Championship was vacated and the tournament was announced.

This week’s edition of Rampage has an ROH Television match advertised between Samoa Joe and Josh Woods.
