AAA confirmed last night that Thunder Rosa will not compete at Triplemania XXX: Mexico City on October 15th.

In a social media video released by the company, NWA Women’s Champion Kamille said that she had heard that Taya Valkyrie is looking for someone new to face at Triplemania because her opponent “got hurt”.

Valkyrie had previously been set to defend her Reina de Reinas Championship against Rosa.

Kamille has been NWA World Women’s Champion since June 2021 and retained the title against Valkyrie at NWA 74 in August.

Thunder Rosa last month announced that she would be unable to compete at All Out due to injury. She still holds the AEW Women’s World Championship, with Toni Storm having been crowned Interim Champion after defeating Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Hikaru Shida in a four-way match at the PPV.
