KUSHIDA diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth disease

KUSHIDA is off New Japan's 9/23 event after being diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth disease

NJPW provides update on KUSHIDA.

Earlier this week, New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced that KUSHIDA had been pulled from their September 21st show due a suspected skin disease.

In an update on the situation, they noted that KUSHIDA has been diagnosed with hand, mouth and foot disease. Per the C.D.C., the disease is common in children under five-years-old but anyone can contract it. It is usually not serious but is very contagious. As a result, he is off the 9/23 show.

New Japan is at the backend of their ‘Burning Spirit’ tour which concludes on Sunday. Headlining that event is Will Ospreay defending the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Title against David Finlay.
