Lio Rush and YOH are heading to the Tokyo Dome.
The two remaining teams in the NJPW Super Junior Tag League tournament were Lio Rush and YOH and BULLET CLUB’s Ace Austin and Chris Bey.
Those two pairs competed to determine the winners of the 2022 installment of the tournament.
In the end, it was Lio and YOH securing the win and with that victory, they’ll be heading to the Tokyo Dome on January 4th to challenge TJP and Francesco Akira for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships.
This will be Rush’s first time competing at Wrestle Kingdom. At this year’s Wrestle Kingdom, YOH was in a trios match for the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Titles.
