IMPACT Wrestling has confirmed that Big Kon of The Design has signed a multi-year contract.

PW Torch was the first to report the news of the former Ascension member’s signing with the promotion.

Kon (Ryan Parmeter) has been wrestling since 2001 and spent years in the WWE system. His first stint with WWE began in 2005 after being assigned to Deep South Wrestling and later moved to Florida Championship Wrestling but DSW was dropped. He requested his release in 2007 due to health concerns with family members but returned in 2010.

Under the name Conor O’Brian, he was part of the NXT series.

His most significant role in the company was as a member of The Ascension, teaming with Thom Latimer and later, Rick Viktor.

Konnor and Viktor won the NXT tag titles in September 2013 and held them for one year, losing them to The Lucha Dragons at NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way.

The two were called up to the main roster in late 2014 and remained with the company until 2019.

He first appeared at IMPACT last February as Big Kon and has been part of The Design, alongside Deaner and Angels.
