Kofi Kingston shares footage of bandaged ankle but states “We gon’ be alright”

Kofi Kingston seemingly confirmed an injury in a video that he posted on Sunday.

In the clip, captioned on Twitter “We gon’ be alright,” Kingston is seen laying poolside with his right foot and ankle strapped up.

With ‘Alight’ by Kendrick Lamar as the soundtrack to the video, one of Kingston’s children comes to greet him with some flower petals.

The social media post appears to confirm a report by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that Kingston sustained an unspecified injury during a segment on Friday’s episode of SmackDown.

The exact nature of any injury or the possible length of time away from the ring are still not known.
