Will Ospreay’s contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling has less than one year remaining.

The performer was interviewed by DAZN at the recent 1PW card and confirmed that his current deal expires in February 2024.

My contract with New Japan is up next February so from that point who’s not gonna want this kid who’s dedicated to being a hard worker and wanting to put on the best quality of matches.

Ospreay joined New Japan in April 2016 after wrestling a match with Kazuchika Okada in England and being brought to the company and joining CHAOS.

The performer has risen to become one of the top wrestlers in the world and became IWGP World Heavyweight Champion in April 2021.

Ospreay recently returned from a shoulder injury and worked against Bobby Fish on the 1PW card and worked a four-way match the next day for the same company. He is scheduled to face Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW’s Resurgence on 5/21 in Long Beach, California.
