Long Beach, California is playing host to NJPW Resurgence on May 21st and the latest talent announcement is multi-time AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.

Moxley has not wrestled for New Japan since October when he competed at The Night Before Rumble on 44th Street. Moxley is a two-time IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion.
Resurgence is going to feature multiple tournament matches, one of which is to determine who advances in the IWGP U.S. Title tourney and the other is to crown the first-ever NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion.
