Colby Corino returns to NWA at Crockett Cup, earns shot at Junior Heavyweight Title

Next in line for Kerry Morton is Colby Corino.

On day two of the National Wrestling Alliance’s Crockett Cup pay-per-view, there was a Scramble match to determine the next challenger to Kerry Morton’s World Junior Heavyweight Championship.

Emerging victorious from the Scramble match was the returning Colby Corino.

Corino wrapped up with the NWA after receiving an offer from WWE. He told PWMania that he was offered a deal, signed all the paperwork that was needed but the company found something from when he was arrested seven years ago.

He was asked to go ‘handle that’ and he did but Corino said things changed on WWE’s end.
